Theatre Interior

The Princess Pavilion A Theatre/Multi-purpose hall, capable of holding 370 people in tiered and flat comfortable theatre seats which are removable to provide a clear area for exhibition and display purposes or a clear area for concerts and dancing with a 400, 500 or 600 standing capacity.

The Pavilion Stage
The stage has full stage lighting, public address system with dressing rooms and backstage facilities.

The stage (16 x 6 metres) has a performing area of 8.23 x 5.48 metres and the exhibition hall with seating removed is approximately 21 x 12.5 metres.

The Verandah

Gyllyngdune Gardens Four acres of formal gardens and a beautiful Edwardian perimeter verandah to provide exterior covered seating. Centrally placed in the lawn is the Edwardian cast iron Bandstand from which regular open-air concerts are given by local town bands.

Adjoining the Princess Pavilion theatre is a large covered enclosed Patio area overlooking the formal gardens and Bandstand. This bar and cafe has seating for an additional 150 people with a smaller stage for semi-acoustic performances.

Location

The Princess Pavilion is centrally located in the main hotel and guest house district of the town and within 100 metres of Falmouth Railway Station. Accommodation ranging from three star hotels to guest houses surrounds the Pavilion and the town shopping centre is within a few minutes walk.
